I have been to Winters Gun shop at three different occasions and the owner Joe has been extremely helpful... very professional. He restored an old rifle...repaired a 9m handgun and installed a recoil pad on an old shotgun...excellent work. I would highly recommend Winters in Berlin NJ.

This is the place to be if you want to talk to someone that knows what they are doing. If you buy a brand new gun, whether it be rifle, revolver or automatic take it out of the box and have Joe tune it up before you shoot it. He will create a firearm action second to none. He recently worked on my Dad's Colt Python and when he was finished, the 40 year old revolver was better than the day it was purchased. This Dude is a real pro from a 3 generation family of gunsmiths. Now he is who I want working on my guns..

Worth the drive just to meet the guy. Walked in to see if he would buy something from me and while he was not interested he still showed me his collection and wares which were extremely impressive. This place is definitely worth checking out even if you are not interested in guns!

I have a vintage '73 High Standard .22 that had so many problems the prior owner sold it to me for next to nothing. Joe took it apart, fixed what needed fixing, charged me $135.00 and now I have a fine target pistol worth probably $600.00. He's a 3rd generation gunsmith, his attention to the details and willingness to go the extra measure reflects this heritage. Great guy too! Couldn't give a higher recommendation.

I had a Browning 22 rifle refinished which was in dire need ... it was my first gun I got when I was 18...and I'm "Old"...Joe also put on a recoil pad for my vintage Remington 1100 trap gun...excellent work and I would highly recommend him !
